Tesla Model S

I rarely make house calls but my brother is an obvious exception to that rule (mainly because his car cannot make the drive on a full charge). I went up to give his Model S a thorough decontamination and seal before the nasty Rochester Winter hits. The Opti-Coat Pro+ I installed a year ago has held up so well and it is really a testament to how easy it is to maintain. My brother is not a detailer or really even a car guy at all and yet when I washed the car it was as if I had just installed the coating. He has been maintaining the coating with Opti-Coat No Rinse, Power Clean, and Hyper Seal. Pretty easy! Thanks Nik!

Tesla Model 3

Mark originally came to me for a consultation of his Model 3 so that I could see the condition of the paint and discuss his options. We determined that a Basic Detail with no interior cleaning would be the best route to take care of his paint. He had some hard water spotting on all the glass that also needed to be removed. Tesla black paint is very soft and similar to Porsche black so it can be very time consuming to finish.

Mark ultimately decided to not coat the entire car but did decide to have the glass coated with Opti-Glass Pro, which will help keep minerals and other contaminants from bonding to the glass for around 2 years. If you don’t know, Teslas have a glass roof so there is a lot of glass real estate to cover.

The entire car was finished with Optimum Car Wax for a nice glossy and hydrophobic finish that will last around five months. The results are stunning and I am thankful to Mark for allowing me to do the job!

Toyota 4Runner

Karl brought his 4Runner in for a Wash & Wax, which is an awesome package to quickly decontaminate your vehicle and to bring back some gloss. Simply, a wash with Optimum Power Clean, Optimum FerreX, and Optimum No Rinse chemically remove the dirt and light debris from the paint before the claying process. I use an Optimum Clay Towel to physically remove the debris that has bonded to the surface and then finish the car off with Optimum Car Wax.

Dodge Journey

Kaitlin brought her Dodge Journey over for some Lamin-x gunsmoke film on the head lamps, fog lamps, and tail lamps. Not only can this film change the look of the car but also does a great job protecting from stone impacts. I always clean the surfaces with Optimum No Rinse and then perform a quick polish with Optimum Hyper Polish to make sure there major swirls. Thanks again Kaitlin!

Cadillac SRX4

CLEAN UP ON AILSE SRX4!

Hey, crap happens. I get it. In this case, tomato soup happens when you slam on the brakes but Sharon took this opportunity to get the entire interior of her SRX4 cleaned up and looking as good as possible. Most of us spend a good chunk of time inside our cars so why not have it as clean as possible? Sadly, most of the sever staining had already took place but the majority was easily removed and most importantly, the germs are also gone that could lead to mold.
