Volkswagen Alltrack - Coating

Back to back Alltracks! It is no secret that I love vehicles in white and this was no exception. This Alltrack only has 2,000 miles on it and got a quick polish, dealer badge removal, b-pillar refresh, and coating of Opti-Coat Pro+. This will help keep this Alltrack look as new as possible for 7 years with UV, chemical, and water resistance.

Volkswagen Alltrack

My parents were down for a visit and I gave their new Alltrack a basic wash and sealant as a mother's day gift. This car was "coated" with a teflon coating by the dealership they bought it from before sitting in the showroom. These types of coatings are commonly sold at dealerships and in my eyes are a total waste of money. They rarely provide the protection that is promised and rarely for the time advertised. You can see here that there are no hydrophobic properties after a decontamination of the hood only months after installation. Thankfully, my parents did not pay for this (they know better...I mean, I am their son) and this car will have Opti-Coat Pro+ and Opti-Glass Pro on it soon enough.

BMW M3

To wrap up this busy week, Carbon Black Metallic made a comeback to the shop! This M3 was recently purchased and needed some love. Made sure the exhaust was polished and sealed as well as finishing the entire car with Optimum Car Wax for 5 months of UV and water resistance.

Subaru Impreza

Kate brought her Impreza over for a basic detail, which turned into a full detail due to paint overspray on the entire vehicle. Also installed Lamin-x door cup film to ensure fingernails and rings won't damage the paint again. Finished the car with Optimum Car Wax to give 5 months of UV and water resistance.
