Word of mouth is the best form of advertisement...next to Google. But seriously, it is. Michael was referred to me by his business partner, David (the owner of the black Porsche 911). His M3 is Carbon Black Metallic and it is such a cool color. It looks black until hit with direct sunlight and then it turned blue. It had a lot of swirls but nothing that wasn't fixable. Once swirl, scuff, and scratch free, the entire car was finished with Optimum Car Wax for five months of protection. Then the engine bay got a good degrease and steam cleaning and then sealed with Opti-Seal. This car was a true pleasure to detail and I look forward to seeing this car in the future!
Volvo 850 Turbo
Good friend Kacper picked up his Volvo 850 Turbo from its recent transmission swap (auto to manual) and some other engine bay bits and wanted to have it refreshed since it sat for a while waiting for parts. I gave the exterior a spray down with Optimum Power Clean to break up some of the heavier debris and then washed with Optimum No Rinse. The car was sealed with Opti-Seal and I am looking forward to the Full Detail we have planned in the Spring. I also did a quick degreasing of the engine bay to remove some residual oil.
Volkswagen Golf R32
Good friend Dom was traveling from NYC to the area and made an appointment to have his Mk4 R32 washed before heading home. His car already has Optimum Gloss Coat on it and a quick Optimum No Rinse bath was all it needed to make the blue shine!
Opti-Coat Pro+ vs Bird Feces
My wife came home from work one day with a nice big section of bird feces. Normally, this would have concerned me because it had sat out in the sun all day at work. But knowing that the car has Opti-Coat Pro+, I was at ease knowing that the UV inhibitors in the coating prevented the feces from bonding and causing harm to the clear coat. A few sprays of Optimum No Rinse on the panel and onto a clean microfiber cloth made for a quick clean up with no scratching or marring.
Audi A4 - Coating
I finally took the time to apply Optimum Gloss Coat to my A4. My A4 is a leased vehicle and I wanted to apply a coating that will still protect the paint but only for the duration of my time with the car, maybe a little longer. No one wants to pay for something that they don't get to benefit from so applying a 7 year coating (Pro+) to a 3 year lease may not be appealing to most. Now I will be able to easily maintain the exterior of the car until the end of my lease!
