Mazda6 - Coating

I cannot begin to say how happy return clients really make me. To me, it means that they love my work enough the first time to come back for more and that is the case with Wayne and his new Mazda6. Wayne new that he wanted his new investment to be protected from the elements with Opti-Coat Pro…so that’s what he got! Sadly the weather kept the car inside and I couldn’t get any other great photos and thankfully the car was only a few hundred miles old so there weren’t any stunning before and after photos. Just a new car that looks better than new and has a lifetime ceramic coating with a five year warranty. Thanks Wayne!

Porsche 911

Dave is a good friend and I always enjoy seeing him and his 1986 911, which you may remember from about two years ago when I first detailed it. Earlier this year, the car was hit by a deer and the repair work was less than expected by Dave and without going into a lot of detail, it was my job to make it presentable again. There are still a few areas that are beyond my job description but I did the best I could to make it shine like a diamond.

Dave also asked me to remove the original Carrera badge from the deck lid and correct behind it and install a new one. Anyone that has cleaned a Porsche with his badge on it knows that it is a terrible space to clean and Porsche black is the worst to work with.

The pictures do a lot of the speaking for me: I did a three step polish and then finished the paint with Optimum Car Wax. Dave also asked to have the wheels coated to help with the maintenance of the polished lips. Bare metal will tarnish in the elements because there is no protective finish to protect from the elements. Solution? Polish it, prep it, and coat with Opti-Metal Coat for a lifetime coating! Now the wheels can just be washed without polishing. Easy!

Thanks again Dave. The car will look great in Winter hibernation!

Toyota Highlander

Susan liked what I did with her husband’s 4Runner so much that she brought her Highlander over for a Wash & Wax! This is the epitome of owning a small business and what should happen. Word of mouth (even though in this case it was the same household) and supporting a local business.

I like to soak every vehicle with Optimum Power Clean (3:1) in a foam cannon to help break down debris that has bonded to the surface. I also spray on Optimum FerreX to break down ferrous materials, specifically on the wheels and near the wheel wells. Then I wash with Optimum No Rinse and use an Optimum Clay Towel to remove the last bits of contaminants from the surface. Finished the entire car off with Optimum Car Wax, which has UV blockers in it to help protect from nature being etched on!

Thank you Karl and Susan!

Volkswagen Golf R32

The #awdtaxi was way overdue for a washing since going to Pocono Raceway one month ago and so I treated it the same way I treat all of my clients’ cars. I started with Optimum FerreX on the wheels, hatch, and exhaust, and then spray on Optimum Power Clean (3:1) with a foam cannon. Then washed with Optimum No Rinse and dried/sealed with Opti-Coat Hyper Seal. It is really that simple. It may not be the most perfect car, but it remains easy to clean and looks glossy.

Volkswagen Atlas

I was contacted by a local dealership to correct an issue created by their detail department and to complete the job that the customer had requested. Kristine parked under a Crabapple tree at work and stains had appeared that she wanted removed. I was able to remove the majority of them chemically and physically and then I also corrected the hologram swirls that had been created by the previous detailer. I also spent a good chunk of time removing polish/wax deposits that were in door jambs and rubber trim.

Kristine said that the car looked better than the day she first bought it and her smile is all I needed to see when she picked it up. Thank you so much!
